The Functionaries of Deity for the management and supervision of the Devta system are:

Goor/Gurr (गूर) : The Institutional Medium
The first official representative of the Deity is Gurr (generally paternal) and is God’s recipient when occasionaly possessed by means of ritual procedures. Villagers ask him to interpret their problems or to give advice on some decision to be taken. Gurr is “chosen by the Deity himself”.

Kardar (कारदार) : The Administrator
Kardar manages Deity’s riches and the practical organization of his rituals. He acts together with the “Deulu” (देउलु), members of the temple committee.
Pujari (पुजारी) : Priest
The others are,
Purohit (पुरोहित) : Brahmin Priest
Bhandari (भंडारी) : Store-Keeper of Deity’s Bhandar
Kathiala (कठीयाला) : Helper of The Kardar
Jathali (जठाली) : The Messanger
Beside the Gurr Deity can express his will through these methods.
